SELMA -- James Zolon Wiggs, 75, died Sunday.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home The Rev. Matt Rice will officiate. Burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Park.
Mr. Wiggs was born in Johnston County to the late John W. and Addie Pittman Wiggs. He was a retired farmer and had served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his wife, C. Grace "Tiny" Peele Wiggs, and is survived by a son, Robert A. Wiggs of Kenly; two daughters, Donna W. Allen of Raleigh and Sarah J. Boyce of Apex; and one granddaughter.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.
