The funeral for Bruce R. Smith, 85, of 580 South Landfill Road, will be held Friday at 2 p.m., at Augusta Chapel Church in Dudley. The Rev. Brady Carmack and the Rev. Chester McClarin will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Mabel Smith of the home, and eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be on Thursday from 3 until 8 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel.
