MOUNT OLIVE -- B.J. Jennette, 66, died Sunday at his home on Kermit Warren Road.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Jennette Family Cemetery.
Mr. Jennette was a farmer in the Smith Chapel community and was the son of the late Joseph and Emma King Jennette.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Cooke Jennette; two sons and their wives, Joseph and Lisa Jennette and Brian and Brandy Jennette of Mount Olive; one daughter and her husband, Sharon J. and Shannon Jackson of Wallace; and one sister, Lois J. Blackman of Faison.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Jennette, and a sister, Emma Jean Price.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at the funeral home, and other times at the residence of Joseph and Lisa Jennette on Kermit Warren Road.
