Richard Williams, 26, of 3206 Central Heights Road, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
He graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in 1998 and attended Wayne Community College's criminal justice program. He was employed as a health care technician at O'Berry Center and also worked with Central Security.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Edith Joyner Williams, and is survived by one sister, Judy Pickett of Goldsboro.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Wave of Glory Church. Pastor Daniel Uzzell will officiate. Burial will be in St. Delight Cemetery in Greene County.
The viewing will be today until 5 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home in Goldsboro.
