James Albert "Junior" Lawhorn Jr., 49, of 190 Hollowell Road, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 in he chapel of Howell Fu-neral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. Gary Martin will officiate. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Emmaus Baptist Church Cemetery in Dudley.
He is survived one son, Milford "Pete" Dwain Hollowell of Goldsboro; one daughter, Lisa Ingram Powell and her husband, Jimmy, of Rocky Mount; his mother, Allene Lawhorn Vogen and her husband, Frank, of Pikeville; two brothers, Ricky Lawhorn and his wife, Betsy, of Goldsboro and Jimmy Ray Lawhorn of Goldsboro; one sister, Carolyn Lawhorn Bedford and her husband, Walt, of Pikeville; and special friends, Debbie Hollowell of Goldsboro and Mark Eston of Goldsboro.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Albert Lawhorn Sr.
The family will receive friends at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory following the service tonight and other times at the home of his sister, Carolyn Bedford, 1088 Mount Carmel Church Road, Pikeville.
