LEONA ALLEN

SNOW HILL -- Nicie Leona Allen, 97, died Monday at Britthaven Nursing Home of Snow Hill.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Snow Hill, where she was a member.
A native of Pitt County, Mrs. Allen was the daughter of the late John Harris and Rosa Manning Harris and the widow of Fermer G. Allen.
She is survived by one son, Clarence Allen of Seven Springs; one step-son, Gid Allen of Maury; one daughter, Faye Taylor of Maury; two sisters, Libbie Clayborne of Maury and Erma Horton of Raleigh; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
