Doris Thomas Healy, 74, died Saturday at her home in Poughkeepsi, N.Y., after a short illness.
She was a native of Goldsboro and was the daughter of the late Eggar and Lucy Hunnycutt Thomas and the widow of William Healy.
She is survived by three daughters, Cathy Sinatra of New York, Jenny Spence of Florida and Doreen Cartiglia of New Jersey; one son, James Healy of New Mexico; two sisters, Louise Pate of Virginia and Dorothy Thomas Poandl of Goldsboro.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at Parmele Funeral Home, 110 Fulton Ave., Poughkeepsie, N.Y., 12603..
