WILSON -- Maybell Yelverton Edmundson, 82, sister of Ethleen Lewis of Goldsboro, died Saturday at Wilson Medical Center.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Rose Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, with Elderess Mary Jo Atkinson officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
In addition to her sister, Mrs. Edmundson is survived by two daughters, Jean Edmundson of Wilson and Shirley Rice of Baltimore, Md.; five sons, Zebide Edmundson and David Edmundson of Baltimore, Md., and Hubert Edmundson, Ronnie Edmundson and Santafee Edmundson of Wilson; and 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 on Friday night at Edwards Funeral Home in Wilson and will assemble at 2408 Canal Drive in Wilson one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
