MORRISVILLE -- Mary Thornton Lynn, 75, of 114 Cotten Drive, died Sunday.
She was the sister of Alice Matthews, George Thornton, Marshall Thornton and Freddie Thornton, all of Clinton.
She is also survived by three daughters, Donna Lynn-Meyers of Morrisville, Pamela Lynn Copeland of Apex, and Candace Lynn Hargis of Raleigh; another sister, Annie Smith of Roseboro; another brother, Eldon Thornton of Mechanicsville, Va.; and three grandsons.
A graveside service was held today at 11 a.m. at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends on Tuesday night at Apex Funeral Home.
