KINSTON -- The funeral for William Arthur Wallace, 75, stepfather of Coletta Smith of Seven Springs, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Northwest A Tabernacle in Trenton. Elderess Antainette D. Bell will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Wallace died Friday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston.
He was a native of Beaufort County and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member and deacon at Gospel Outreach Free Will Baptist Church
In addition to his stepdaughter, Mr. Wallace is survived by his wife, Joyce Wallace of the home; another stepdaughter, Tonya Phillips of Kinston; two sons, William Wallace Jr. of Richmond, Va., and Jamie Gorham of Yonkers, N.Y.; two stepsons, Christopher Williams of Charlotte and Gardner Williams of Seven Springs; and a number of grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 8 p.m. at Gospel Outreach Church in Kinston, N.C.
Mitchell's Funeral Home in Greenville is serving the family.
