Walter "Pete" Dale Peterson, 74, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital
The funeral will be held in Presque Isle, Maine. Burial will be at Southside Cemetery in Mapleton, Maine.
Mr. Peterson was born in Akeley, Minn., and was the son of the late Carl and Lilabelle J. Vornum Peterson. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Mapleton, Maine, and was retired from the United States Air Force.
He is survived by two sons, Karl Peterson of Mount Olive and Kevin Peterson of Goldsboro; one daughter, Kathy Jones of Lewiston, Maine; one brother, Bob Peterson of Brooklyn Heights, Minn.; two sisters, Janice Adams of Weeks Mills, Maine, and Ruth Sustad of Viking, Minn.
