FOUR OAKS -- James Edward Baker, 70, of Boyette Road, died Monday.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Four Oaks Church of God. Burial will be in Barbour's Chapel Church Cemetery.
Mr. Baker was a native of Johnston County and was the son of the late Paul and Maggie Baker.
He is survived by his wife, Eula Hatley Baker; two sons, Eddie Baker and Bennie Baker of Four Oaks; three sisters, Dean Hocutt of Four Oaks, Shirley Holley of Smithfield and Barbara Pitts of Goldsboro; six brothers, Jimmy Baker, Alex Baker, Norwood Baker, Sam Baker, Leroy Baker and Major Baker of Four Oaks; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Minshew Funeral Home.
