Hope Hood Daugherty Morton, 85, of Dover, died Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Mrs. Morton is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Daugherty Hinnant of Goldsboro; one son, W. Marvin Daugherty of Washington; three sisters Pauline Stahl of California, Rose Zoellner of Woodbridge, Va., and Geraldine Alberti of Bonita Springs, Fla.; three brothers, Eugene Hood and Clifton Randolph Hood of Dover and Edward Hood of Kinston; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation was held at Howard-Carter Funeral Home from 7 until 9 on Sunday night.
A graveside service was to be held today , September 26, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston, under the direction of Howard-Carter Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to Dover United Methodist Church.
