A funeral service for Namon Douglas Wallace, 69, of 221 Serecta Road, will be held today at 3 p.m. from the Big Zion AME Zion Church. The Rev. Janice Wilson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery.

Mr. Wallace died Wednesday at Duplin General Hospital.

He is the son of the late Fred and Alberta Miller Wallace, and the husband of the late Sue N. Wallace. He was a retired employee with National Spinning, Inc.

He is survived by two sons, James E. Miller of Kenansville and Ronnie D. Wallace of Hollywood, Calif.; two daughters, Reena W. Walker of Acworth, Ga., and Patricia W. Bryant of Goldsboro; three sisters, Donnette Murray of Kenansville, Ella Stanley of LaGrange and Abby Fay Jones of Kershaw, S.C.; five brothers, Raeford E. Wallace and Larry Wallace of Kenansville, Bennie Wallace, Horace Wallace and Willie Robert Wallace of Brooklyn, N.Y., and seven grandchildren.
