Gloria Jones Evans of Goldsboro died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A celebration of her life will be held Sat-urday at 1 p.m. at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church of LaGrange, where she was a member. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Ms. Evans was born in Wayne County to the late Ivan Jones Sr. and Helen Armstrong Jones. She graduated from Dillard High School in 1966 and had worked at Barry of Goldsboro, Excel Linde and Uichiyama of America.
She is survived by one daughter, Rholonda Evans of Goldsboro; one son, Robert Evans of Goldsboro; two sisters, Elizabeth Isler and Doris Hinnant of Goldsboro; and four grandchildren.
The viewing hours will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday at McIntyre Funeral Home..
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 7 on Friday evening, and other times at 913 Isler St.
