WALTER PERKINS
Died Sept. 3., 2005
Walter James "W.J." Perkins Jr., of 153 Perkins Mill Road, died Saturday at his residence.
A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late Walter J. Perkins and Ida Worley Perkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Louise Guy, Hilda Brock, and Iris Egbert.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Taylor Perkins; and his children, Paula P. Waters and husband, Ronald, Walter J. Perkins III and wife, Faye, Mary P. Weeks and husband, Neil, and Donna P. Braswell and husband, David, all of the Rosewood Community.
Mr. Perkins is also survived by his grandchildren, Ron, Brad, and Lee Waters, Curtis, Stuart, Travis, and Kandis Weeks, and Jarrett and Kasie Braswell.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday from Oakland Friends Church. The family will receive friends Monday at Seymour Funeral Home from 7 until 9, and other times at the residence.
