KENANSVILLE -- Shirley M. McGowan, 63, died Aug. 31 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital of Greenville.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Sept. 3, at 3 p.m. with the Rev. William Peterson officiating. Burial will be in the McGowan Cemetery of Kenansville.
She is survived by a daughter, Shelia Brinson of Kenansville; two brothers, Alfred McGowan and Thomas McGowan of Kenansville; two sisters, Junetta Boyette of Beulaville and Mittie Miller of Kenansville; three grandchildren; an aunt; and a sister-in-law.
A visitation will be held this evening from 6 until 7 at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road.
