Lola Stewart Medlin, 69, of Fedelon Trail Road, died Friday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Kenly Cemetery in Kenly. The Rev. Jerry Mitchell will officiate.
Mrs. Medlin was born in Faison on April 18, 1936, to the late Garland Stewart and Laura McLamb Stewart. She was past employed with Cherry Hospital as a nurse.
She is survived by her daughter, Vicky Forrest and husband, Steve, of Goldsboro; two sisters, Eloise Johnson of Benson, and Juanita Phillips and husband, Bill, of Smithfield; and one grandson, Justin Keefe.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Medlin was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Medlin, and one sister, Janice Grey.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7 until 8:30 at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
