NEW BERN -- Daniel Shackleford Jr., 60, father of Shana Jones of LaGrange, died last Thursday.
The funeral will be held this Thursday at 2 p.m. at New Life Family Worship Center in Kinston. Interment will be in Southview Cemetery.
In addition to his daughter, Mr. Shackleford is survived by his wife, Michele Shackleford of the home; three sons, Dantravell Shackleford of New Bern and Reginald Shackleford and Karl Shackleford of Kinston; two other daughters, Victora Marshall of Fort Barnwell and LaVonda Grant of New Bern; nine brothers, Cur-
tis Shackleford, Douglas Shackleford, Jerome Bell and Michael Shackleford of Kinston, Robert Bell of Greenville, Michael Bell and Bill Sutton of Fort Barnwell, Charles Shackleford of South Carolina and Bob Shackleford of New Jersey; seven sisters, Betty Mewborn, Irella Marshall and Angela Lane of Fort Barnwell, Carolyn Randolph of Tampa, Fla., Sharon Moten, Patricia Nobles and Lorraine Williams of Kinston; and 13 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 until 6 p.m. at Don Brown Funeral Home.
