Marie Barrow Perry, 77, of 161 Combs Road, died Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Mrs. Perry was born in Greene County on October 24, 1927, to the late Taylor Roosevelt Barrow and Emma Thomas Barrow. She was a member of Free Gospel PFWB Church.

A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Monday at the Free Gospel P.F.W.B. Church. The Reverends Willard Hardison, Gerald Holloman and Jeff Toler will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pikeville Cemetery. Pall-bearers will be Andy Perry, Clinton Perry, Daniel Perry, Aaron Kasulis, Greg Potter and Jerry Parker.

Mrs. Perry is survived by her husband of 53 years, Sam Perry; daughters, June Martin and husband, Al, of Goldsboro and Bonnie Parks of Goldsboro; sons, Dwight Perry and wife, LaVena, of Goldsboro and Dale Perry and wife, Sandy, of Pikeville; grandchildren, Amanda Wade, Jennifer Shafer and husband, Michael, Kerry Kasulis, Andy Perry, Katie Perry, Clinton, Daniel, and Travis Perry; five great-grandchildren; her sisters, Ruby B. Daniels, Margaret B. Sutton, Rosetta B. Smith, Gladys Wells and Ann B. Davis, all of Goldsboro; her brothers, Robert Barrow and Wade Barrow, both of Snow Hill; and one foster brother, Oscar Mooring of Pikeville.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Jessie B. Ham; and her brother, James Barrow.

The family will receive friends this evening from 6 until 8 at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at her residence, 161 Combs Road.
