SEVEN SPRINGS -- Lucille Hardison Dail, 63, of 138 Louis Pugh Jones Road, died Monday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. The Reverends Otto Griffin and David Jackson will officiate. A graveside service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

Mrs. Dail was born in Duplin County to the late Erman and Julia Bell Best and was married to Robert Lindsey Dail.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Dal Junior and Frankie Hardison of Alabama; four daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Gary Cox of Goldsboro, Julie Maxwell of Seven Springs, Tammy and Michael Herring of Seven Springs and JoAnn and Jimmy Noel of Hope Mills; four brothers, Mickey Best, Elwood Best, Dallas Best and Jimmy Best of Mount Olive; one sister Christine Best of Goldsboro; and 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Mozingo.

The family will receive friends at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home immediately following the service on Thursday night, and other times at the home.
