Darrence and Barbara Warren, of 140 Grand St., announce the birth and death of a son, Dylan Lee Warren, on Thursday, Aug. 4, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A graveside funeral will be held today at 4 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Darrence Damien Warren of the home; two sisters, Alie Thornton of the home and Akayla Warren of Georgia; his maternal grandparents, Fisher and Kathy Trogdon of Pikeville; his paternal grandparents, Rachel Warren and James Meeks of Grantham; his maternal great-grandparents, Garland and Doris Jones of Pikeville and George and Ruby Thornton of Goldsboro; and his paternal great-grandparents, James and Esther Atkinson of Kenly.
The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service this afternoon.
The family is being served by Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home & Crematory Inc.
