TEACHEY -- The funeral for Sandra Kearse will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at St. Paul A.M.E. Church. Burial will be in the Stokes Family Cemetery.
Ms. Kearse died Wednesday in New York.
She was born in New York to Leroy and Gerdine Stokes Kearse of Teachey and was the granddaughter of the late Chancey and Lovit Teachey Stokes.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by three sisters, Louise Kearse, Flossie Kearse, and Tarry Alexander; and four brothers, Richard Kearse, Willie Stokes, Leroy Kearse, Jr. and Paul Kearse
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Matthews Funeral Chapel.
