Johnnie Mae Artis, 56, of 928 Memorial Church Road, Fremont, died Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The viewing will be held Tuesday from 4 until 7 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home in Fremont.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Eureka. Burial will be in Fort Cemetery, Eureka. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the graveside service.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Herring, and a sister, Wanda Ford.
Her survivors include one son, Tony Artis and wife Rebecca; one niece, Tiffany Ford; one nephew, Al Ford; and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Flowers and memorial gifts should be directed to Rhodes Funeral Home in Fremont.
