STANTONSBURG -- James Lonnie Bundy, 81, of 208 Thompson Ave., died Monday at WilMed Nursing Care Center.
He was a retired farmer and was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Agnes Hamilton Bundy.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home. The Rev. Wayne Goff and the Rev. Bill Altman will officiate. Burial will be on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Stantonsburg Cemetery.
Mr. Bundy is survived by two daughters, Ruth Altman of Rieglewood and Grace Batts of Macclesfield; five sons, James T. Bundy and Kenneth Bundy of Stantonsburg, Ervin Bundy of Pantego and John Bundy of Raleigh; and 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may bee made to WilMed Hospice, 1705 S. Tarboro St., SW, Wilson, N.C., 27893.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service tonight, and other times at 208 Thompson Ave., Stantonsburg.
