WARSAW -- The funeral for Anthony "Neal" Matthews, who died unexpectedly on Friday, will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Community Funeral Home. Burial will be on Wednesday morning at 10 in the Devotional Gardens.
He was employed at Petsmart and his hobbies were cooking and gardening.
His survivors include his mother, Anna Carter Mimken, and her husband Brian; his father, Leonard Matthews, and his wife, Alice; his brother, David Andrew "Andy" Matthews, and his wife, Tomoko; his stepbrother, Dean Clark Butler; his stepsister, Heather R. Lander; and three nieces, Erica and Katie Butler and Ashley "Lumi" Matthews; his best friend and partner, Tom Phan; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service tonight.
