Laura Grady Parks, 93, died Saturday at the Brian Center in Goldsboro.

She was a native of the Pricetown community, where she lived most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Larma and Essie Price Grady and the widow of Randolph Parks. A retired farmer and homemaker, she was an avid gardener and was a member of Zion United Methodist Church.

Her survivors include a daughter, Pansy P. Herring of Anchorage, Alaska; three grandchildren, Page Herring, Sonya Bussa, and Storm Holly O'Connor; and four great-grandchildren, Rainy, Logan, Max, and McKenzie.

The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive. The Rev. Mike Grady will officiate. Interment will be in Pineview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 until 9, and other times at the home of Nelson and Jill Parks.

Flowers are welcome or memorial donations may be given to Zion Methodist Church.
