Gwendolyn E. Bell, 39, of 206 Eva James Road, died Wednesday at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the New Christian Chapel Baptist Church, Rose Hill. The Rev. Reginald Wells will officiate. Burial will follow in the Martin Cemetery in Warsaw.
She is the daughter of Dessie Bell of Brooklyn, N.Y. and the late James A. Bell Sr. She was a former mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by one brother, James Bell Jr. of Brooklyn, N.Y.
A viewing will be held Monday from 3 until 7 p.m. at the Garris Funeral Home Chapel. The family will be present to receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence.
Garris Funeral Home is serving the family.
