Betty Jean Beasley, 65, died Saturday.
She was a lifelong resident of Johnston County and was the daughter of the late Annie Bell Jones Shinbara and A.V. Jones.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Danford Beasley of Princeton; one daughter, Sherry Beasley McLamb of Willow Spring; two brothers, A.V. Jones Jr. and Johnny Jones of Smithfield; one sister, Judy Jones of Smithfield; her stepfather, George Shinbara of Smithfield; and two grandsons.
The family will receive friends today from 6:30 until 9 at Minshew's Funeral Home, Four Oaks.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Mary's Grove Free Will Baptist Church, Benson, where she was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
A fellowship lunch for family and friends will be held in the church activity building after the service.
