KENANSVILLE -- The funeral for Julia C. Jones, 85, will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at St. James A.M.E. Church of Kenansville. The Rev. Wayne Lofton will officiate. Burial will be in Middleton Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones died last Thursday at Glen Care Nursing Center.
She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ada Brinson Carlton.
Her survivors include two sisters, Elizabeth Laury of Washington, D.C., and Ada Newman of Colonial Beach, Va.
The viewing will be today from 4 until 6 at Garris Funeral Home, and at the church one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
The family will receive friends at the residence at 667 Red Hill Road, Mount Olive.
