FAY F. DELLINGER

CONOVER -- Fay Fry Dellinger, 87, mother of Janice Whisenhunt of Goldsboro, died Saturday at Abernethy Laurels.

A service of remembrance will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, where she was a member. Burial will be in Catawba Memorial Park.

Mrs. Dellinger was a native of Catawba County and was the daughter of the late Kirby Curlee "K.C." Fry and Lizzie Killian Fry. She was the retired owner and operator of Dellinger Interior Decorating.

In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Dellinger is survived by her husband of 69 years, Ural Franklin "Dude" Dellinger of the home; four other daughters, Jackie Marcesca of Sammamish, Wash., Jinky Shearon and Chrissie Maness of Indian Trail and Debbie Bowman of Newton; one son, David Delligner of Conover; one sister, Curlee F. Cline of Concord; one brother, Jim Fry of Salisbury; and 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the church on from 9:45 until 10:45 Wednesday morning.
