MOUNT OLIVE -- Carlton Dwight "Santana" Langston, 50, of 522 North Center St., died Monday at home.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home. The Rev. Elbert Hollowell will officiate. The burial will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive.
Mr. Langston, a native of Virginia, was employed with the Mount Olive Tire Service and had served in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Davis Langston; his mother, Edna Carol Langston of Virginia; two daughters, Kimberly Machamer of Mount Olive and April Langston of the home; and a sister, Betty Jean Langston of Virginia.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening during the hour prior to the service, and other times at the home of the Rev. and Mrs. Herbert Davis, 102 Tillman St., Mount Olive.
