FREMONT -- The funeral for Doris Bass Head, 82, will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Eureka Cemetery.
Mrs. Head died Wednesday at Britthaven Nursing Home in Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends Friday night from 7 until 8:30 at the funeral home, and other times at the residence of her daughter, Ada Woodard, 410 Davis Street Extension, Fremont.
