GREENVILLE -- Louise Letchworth Tyson, 87, sister of W.D. Letchworth of Goldsboro, died Monday at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Church Street Chapel of the Farmville Funeral Home. The Rev. Jack Weathersby will officiate. Interment will be in the Tyson Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Tyson was a member of Friendship Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her brother, she is survived by three daughters, Nellie Kirkland and Edith McLamb of Farmville and Jo Carol Jones of Kinston; three sons, Carl "Sam" Tyson Jr., Jason Tyson and Mike Tyson of Farmville; three sisters, Emma Mae Hardison of Farmville, Elsie Hardison of Snow Hill and Doris Williams of Garner; another brother, Edward Letchworth of Greenville; and 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Farmville Funeral Home tonight from 7 until 9 and other times at the home of Sam and Marie Tyson, 371 Tyson Loop Road, Farmville.
