TOMMY WIGGS

PRINCETON -- George T. "Tommy" Wiggs, 73, died Thursday.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. Burial will be in Selma Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Wiggs was born in Johnston County on March 29, 1932, and was the son of the late James Hubert and Mary Ophelia Braswell Wiggs. He was a member of the Princeton Baptist Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Patricia W. Parks of Burlington; two sons, Thomas Glenn Wiggs of Burlington and Jeffrey Dean Wiggs of Selma; two brothers, Ed Wiggs of Fremont and Leamon Wiggs of Little River, S.C.; two sisters, Grace Howell of Princeton and Clara Bell Barnes of Newton; a grandson, John W. Parks II; and a granddaughter, Britney Nicole Wiggs.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 2 until 3 p.m.
