DORA C. PRICE
Dora Crawford Price, 92, formerly of Goldsboro, died Monday at Britthaven Nursing Home in Charlotte.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Fred Kelly officiating. Private inurnment will be at Willow Dale Cemetery.
Mrs. Price was born in Wayne County to the late David Allen Crawford and Callie Worrell Crawford. She was married to the late James A. Price and was a was a retired schoolteacher, having taught 12 years in Goldsboro City Schools. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Goldsboro and the Women's Missionary Union.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda P. Brown, and her husband, William B. Brown, of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Janet Brown Fisher and husband Andrew of Charlotte and William Butler Brown III and wife Beth of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and three great-grandchildren, Crawford Fisher, C.C. Brown and Harris Brown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 125 S. John St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
The family will greet friends at Seymour Funeral Home following the memorial service on Friday afternoon.
