CAROLYN RANDOLPH

Carolyn C. Randoph, 96, of 224 Wayne Avenue, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at St. John A.M.E. Zion Church, Dudley. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The church's founders included her father, the late Charlie Cobb, and her grandfather, the late Rev. George Cobb, and Mrs. Randolph was a faithful member there. She was also the daughter of the late Mylie O. Cobb.

Mrs. Randolph retired in 1971 as a health care technician at Cherry Hospital.

She is survived by one son, Charlie Cobb of Goldsboro; one daughter, Jacqueline Woods of Dudley; and one sister, Roberta Cobb Langston of Philadelphia, Pa.; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

The wake will be held Thursday from 7 until 8 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home, Goldsboro.
