Curtis Brian Jackson, 41, of Lafayette, Louisiana, passed to eternal rest on Sunday, June 19, 2005, in Lafayette.

Brian was the son of Curtis and Lynette Jackson of Goldsboro.

A native of Goldsboro and a resident of Lafayette, Louisiana, Brian owned and operated C and M Development. He was an avid fisherman and was known and loved by many for his outgoing personality.

In addition to his mother and father, survivors include his wife of three years, Mona Jackson; two sons, Brandon and Christopher Jackson; a sister, Beverly Warren, and her husband, Kent, and their children, Emily and Jackson Warren of Goldsboro. He is also survived by his grandmother, Gennie B. Britt of Mount Olive; and three stepdaughters, Jeanne Lantier of Hubert, N.C., and Natalie and Adrian Yarno of Lafayette, La.

A service to celebrate Brian's life will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with visitation following. A private interment will be held Thursday at Wayne Memorial Park. The Rev. Jimmy Whitfield will officiate.

At other times the family will receive friends at the home of his mother and father at 103 Moss Hill Drive, Goldsboro.
