JOSEPHINE JONES
FREMONT -- Josephine Jones, 73, of 309 S. Sycamore St., Fremont, died Thurdsay at SunBridge Rehabilitation Care, Mount Olive.
She was the daughter of the late Johnnie and Estella Rowe Jones.
Her survivors include three sons, Gregory Jones of the home, Dwayne Jones of Fremont and Stanley Jones of Saulston; seven daughters, Gloria Jones of the home, Delores Bunch, Doris Jones and Annie Gibbs of Goldsboro, Pastor Helen Reid of Fremont, Jollette Newsome of Fayetteville and Phyllis Boyer of Pikeville; one brother, Archie Jones of Washington D.C.; three sisters, Alise Mae Wilder and Roberta Pate, both of Washington D.C., and Ella Spruill of Goldsboro; 22 grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
A wake was held Saturday evening from 7 until 9 in the Rhodes Chapel in Fremont.
The funeral will be held today at 3 p.m. at Greater Morning Star Church. Pastor Helen Reid will officiate. Burial will be in Fremont City Cemetery.
