GAIL YOUNG
The funeral for Gail L. Young, 52, of 913 Edgerton St., will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Miller's Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church. The Rev. Franklin L. Rush will officiate. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery.
Ms. Young died Monday at SunBridge Nursing Center in Mount Olive.
She was the daughter of Gaynell Lofton and was a former employee of Mount Olive Pickle Company.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are two sons, Cortez Chapman of LaGrange and Tubiah Mitchell of Goldsboro; one daughter, Trumanda Best of Goldsboro; three brothers, Joe Carver Lofton of Newark, N.J., Victor R. Love of Dudley and Vincent Lofton of Washington, D.C.; five sisters, Maggie A Cobb, Iris Lofton and Linda Lofton of Newark, N.J., Eva Lofton and Edsel Lofton of Goldsboro; and 10 grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 6 p.m. today at Garris Funeral Home in Mount Olive.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
