WILEY BARROW
SNOW HILL -- Wiley Lamont Barrow, 76, died Saturday at his residence.
Mr. Barrow was a native of Greene County, born to the late Samuel Lee and Nola Head Barrow. He was a member of Free Gospel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, and was a retired Correctional officer with the North Carolina Department of Corrections.
A funeral service will be held Monday evening at 7 at Free Gospel Church. A committal service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Snow Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Barrow is survived by his wife, Dorothy Fields Barrow; a daughter, Wilma Barrow Casey and husband, Rudy of Goldsboro; a son, Sammy Barrow and wife, Pamela of Dudley; four sisters, Myrtle Heath of Kinston, Joyce Taylor and Evangeline Naylor, both of Goldsboro, Jean Newsome of Wilmington; three brothers, Rayford and Ronald Barrow, both of Snow Hill, Desmond Barrow of Pikeville; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends immediately following the services Monday evening.
