JAMES WINBUSH SR.
James Winbush Sr., 72, of 311 N. Carolina St., died Wednesday at Britthaven of Goldsboro.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Ezekiel Sutton will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Winbush was the son of the late Eddie and Maggie Howell Winbush.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Winbush of the home; nine sons, LeVern (Brenda) Richardson of Wendell, James Eddie (Biddy) Winbush of Charleston, S.C., Gary Cornell (Gloria) Winbush of Fayetteville, Rickey (Theresa) Richardson Sr., James Robert Winbush, Jeffrey Miles (Judy) Winbush, Darryl Jay Winbush and Reginald Winbush, all of Goldsboro, and Michael Thurman Winbush of Winston-Salem; one daughter, Beverly Jean (Gary)Artis of Goldsboro; two sisters, Magdalene Thompson and Ann Winbush of Goldsboro; and 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed today from 4 until 6 at Rhodes Funeral Home and the family will be present from 6 until 7 to greet friends.
