LEON GIBBS
RALEIGH -- Leon Gibbs, 80, brother of Carrie Gibbs Exum of Goldsboro, died Tuesday at Rex Hospital Hospice Care.
The funeral will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of Lea Funeral Home. Burial will be on Saturday morning at 11 at Carolina Biblical Gardens.
In addition to his sister, Mr. Gibbs is survived by his wife, Marie Elizabeth Meadows Gibbs; two sons, Jimmy Leon of Durham and Douglas Durante of New Jersey; and one daughter, Linda Johnson of Maryland.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home during the half hour prior to the funeral on Friday night.
