JAMES BROADWAY SR.

James Ray Broadway, Sr., 50, of 204 Krystal Circle, died Tuesday at his home.

Mr. Broadway was born in Columbus, Georgia, and was the son of the late John and Jewel Hayes Broadway. He worked as automobile body repairman.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Ira Williford officiating.

Mr. Broadway is survived by his wife, Susan Spencer Broadway; his sons, Norman Ray Broadway and wife, Rebecca of Mount Olive, James Ray Broadway Jr. of Goldsboro and Justen Broadway of Goldsboro; his sisters, Faye Renn of Alabama and Mary Ann Jones of Goldsboro; two grandchildren, Nathaniel Broadway and Brook Lee Broadway and brothers and sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, John Broadway, and his sister, Jane Napier.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
