LORENE A. SMITH
DUNN -- Lorene A. Smith, 83, of 2591 Easy St., died Friday.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Maple Grove United Methodist Church. The Reverends Walter Gaskin and Don Davis will officiate.
She is survived by six daughters, Sue Smith Allen of Dunn, Gwen Smith of Jacksonville, Fla., Rosetta Monds of Southport, LaDene Wrench of Roseboro, JoAnn Matheson of Bladenboro, Betty Lou Turnage of Dunn; two sons, J.C. Smith of Newton Grove and Walter Smith of Dunn; two sisters, Thelma Moore of Powell, Tenn., and Wilma Armstrong of Maryville, Tenn.; one brother, Ben Armstrong of Cambridge City, Ind.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Christopher Smith, 20 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6 until 8.
