MARJORIE EDWARDS
The funeral for Marjorie Baker Edwards will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Central Heights Free Will Baptist Church, with Pastor Isaac Burnette officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her parents Burl Baker and Rosa Bell Martin.
She is survived by her daughters and sons, Peggy King, Patricia Edwards, Chester Edwards Jr., Shelia Swinson, William Edwards, Shirley Edwards, and Georgia Best; one sister, Bertha Isler Lewis; and one brother, James Lee Baker of Goldsboro.
The viewing hours will be from 2 until 8 p.m. on Thursday at McIntyre Funeral Home, and the family will be present to receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. At other times the family will receive friends at the home of Sheila Swinson, 106 Marianna Drive in the Brantwood subdivision.
