VALENA M. FAISON
WARSAW -- Valena M. Faison, 77, of 721 Hwy. 24 & 50, died Tuesday at her home.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. today at The Hills Chapel Baptist Church in Faison. The Rev. Tony Harrington will officiate. Burial will follow in The Smith Cemetery.
She was the daughter of the late Edward and Emmaline Faison. She was a retired employee with the federal government.
She is survived by three sisters, Emma F. Moore and Catherine Grantham of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Viola Benjamin of Maryland; one brother, Ralph Faison of Brooklyn, N.Y.
The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Willie Faison, 417 E. Main St., Faison. The procession will line up at 1 p.m. in preparation for the funeral.
The family received friends at the Garris Funeral Home Chapel Saturday evening from 5 until 6.
