ALEISE EDWARDS
CLAYTON -- Aleise Bryan Edwards, 76, of Universal Health Care of Raleigh, died Saturday.
A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Herbert J. and Fannie Harrell Bryan and was married to the late Leonard A. Edwards.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Homer Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Edwards is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Tew and husband, Allen of Clayton, Lisa Edwards of Raleigh, and Janet Lowry of Clayton; her son, Eddie Edwards of Raleigh; her sister, Violet Herring of Wilmington; her brothers, Cecil Bryan, Luby Bryan, and Shelton Bryan all of Goldsboro; and four grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by a sister, Margie Mozingo and three brothers, J. W. Bryan, Phillip Bryan, and Lendell Bryan.
Although flowers are welcomed, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Monday at Seymour Funeral Home.
