BILLY WILLIAMS
MAGNOLIA -- Billy Bryan "Joe" Williams, 70, died Monday at New Hanover Memorial Hospital in Wilmington.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at noon in the chapel of Community Funeral Home in Warsaw. The Rev. Bill Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in the Devotional Gardens.
He was the son of the late Wiley K. and Maggie Whitman Williams and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Nora Lewis Williams of the home; two sons, Bryan Williams of Cary and Brendon "Ben" Williams of Magnolia; two daughters, Brandye Williams of Apex and Lisa Allen of Leland; two brothers, Wiley Kenneth "Kenny" Williams and James Douglas Williams of Magnolia; one sister, Linda Elaine Williams of Rose Hill; and eight grandchildren, Bryanna, Braydon, Kara Dax, Amber, Ashley, Amy, Matthew and Joshua; four great-grandchildren, Makayla, Emma, Shelby and Dustin.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home during the two hours prior to the service on Wednesday, and at the residence at other times.
