HAROLD R. DAVIS
Harold Ray Davis, 76, died Sunday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church. The Rev. Thomas Norris, O.S.F.S., will preside. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Davis was the son of Martha Lambert Davis of Altavista, Va., and the late Eck Davis. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a chief master sergeant and was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mary Davis; two daughters, Audrey Darden of Goldsboro and Lois Bossert of Horn Lake, Miss.; three brothers, Gary Davis, Barry Davis and Jimmy Davis of Virginia; four sisters, Leatrice Tramell and Dottie Irby of Virginia and Gadie Hoops and Isabell Stack of Delaware; and six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 8 at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory, and other times at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, 1100 N. Jefferson Av., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
